Welcome to Brant Flyers R/C Inc. – for the advancement and safe enjoyment of radio controlled model aviation.
Brant Flyers, is affiliated with the Model Aeronautics Association of Canada and is a charter member of that body. Our main purpose is the advancement and safe enjoyment of radio controlled model aviation. This objective is realized through the co-operation of our membership with national and international modeling organizations, local government and the general public.
Brant Flyers R/C Inc is a club dedicated to radio controlled model aircraft enthusiasts in the Brant County area of Ontario, Canada, The club welcomes new members who may be interested in pursuing R/C model aviation as a hobby/sport.
The club is associated with the Model Aeronautics Association of Canada (MAAC), the governing body for model aviation in Canada, and in turn, the Aeroclub of Canada as well as the Fèdération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI) the global sport aviation authority.
Club meetings are held at 7:30 pm on the first Wednesday of each month from September through May. As of Fall 2017 the meetings will be moving to a new location - the Skyway Cafe at Brantford Airport.
Visitors are always welcome to attend our meetings.

The next general meeting of Brant Flyers will be at 7:30 pm on Wednesday October 4th, 2017 at the new location - the Skyway Cafe at Brantford Airport. Elections for the Executive are coming up. Peter, our current Secretary, is stepping down, so a new Secretary is definitely needed.
Both fields are still open and in full swing. Evening fly-ins with hot-dogs are still running every Monday at the Etonia field, unless otherwise specially indicated or prohibited by weather - check the Facebook group.

The Brant Flyers Facebook group has been set up, and all members of the society are urged to join, so that they can stay in touch with activities, and share news, photos and videos related to our hobby. Membership of this group is restricted to Brant Flyers members and their families. Just go to the group page (click here) and ask to join, or respond to the invitation when you receive one.

The last general meeting of Brant Flyers was held on Wednesday September 6th at the Skyway Cafe at Brantford Airport. Flight safety was discussed. It was decided to have 'porta-potties' at both flying fields for the next flying season.
The club presented a display at the Brantford Air Show, which attracted considerable interest.
Regular social flying nights have been held on Monday evenings at the Etonia field all season - those interested in finding out more about the club are welcome to drop in.
A successful Fun Fly, BBQ and swap meet was held on July 15th at the Middleport field. We even had a flyover from the Warplane Heritage Museum's B-25 Mitchell.
